I'm just back from INDEX 2026 in Geneva, and what a week it was. Three days of incredible conversations, fresh ideas, and a real sense that our industry is entering a new chapter — one where sustainability and performance finally feel like the same goal rather than competing ones. I left with a notebook full of insights and a long list of people I can't wait to follow up with.
The absolute highlight for me, though, was the Women in Nonwovens (WIN) breakfast. There's something special about gathering in a room full of women who understand the work, the wins, and the quiet challenges that come with this industry. The conversations were honest, generous, and the kind that stay with you long after the coffee cups are cleared. I met women at every stage of their careers — some I'd only ever emailed, some I'd never crossed paths with before — and walked away genuinely energized by the community we're building together. Moments like that are why I love showing up to events like this.
I also loved stepping into the immersive "Nonwovens. In every layer of life" experience tucked into the heart of the show floor. It was a lovely pause in an otherwise busy week — a reminder of just how much our materials touch everyday lives in ways most people never see.
A huge thank you to EDANA, the WIN organizers, and everyone who made the week so meaningful. Already counting down to the next one.
