Three Conferences, Three Cities: ICC Sydney, London Packaging Week, and Go Wipes 2026

Three conferences. Three cities. A lot of ground covered.

Over the past few months, the Crown Abbey team has been out on the road, checking in on what's happening across beauty, packaging, and nonwovens. Here's a quick look at where we've been.

Beauty Expo at ICC Sydney

First stop: Sydney. The Beauty Expo at ICC Sydney was a great opportunity to get face time with brands we know and meet a handful of new ones. The energy at an event like this is hard to replicate over a video call. You pick up on things quickly, what categories are getting crowded, where brands are still hunting for the right R&D support, and which product ideas are genuinely fresh versus recycled trends with new packaging.

Skincare and color cosmetics are always well represented at events like this, and this year was no different. Good conversations were had.

London Packaging Week 2026

Next up: London, for #londonpackagingweek2026. Sustainable packaging was the throughline of the whole event. Lightweighting, refillable formats, and genuine material innovation were all on display, and the quality of thinking has moved on considerably from the early days of "slap a recycling symbol on it and call it green."

Refillable beauty packaging in particular continues to pick up steam. Brands in skincare and color cosmetics are increasingly factoring packaging sustainability into the brief from day one, rather than treating it as an afterthought. That shift matters. When packaging decisions get made early in the development process, there are far more options available and fewer expensive course corrections later.

For anyone working on a new product launch, packaging is worth serious attention at the concept stage. Crown Abbey works across that full development arc, so it's a conversation we're well positioned to have early.

Go Wipes 2026, Cologne

And then: Cologne, Germany, for #GoWipes2026. This one is always worth the trip. The wipes world moves faster than most people outside of it realize. Sustainable and biodegradable nonwovens remain a major focus, with manufacturers and brands alike pushing on fiber choice, dispersibility, and end-of-life options. Nonwovens product development is a core part of what Crown Abbey does, spanning wet wipes, cleansing cloths, and reusable face pads, so staying close to where the material science is heading is part of the job.

The conversations at Go Wipes tend to be technical and specific, which suits us fine.

More to share from each of these events as we process everything we took in. If you were at any of these shows and want to compare notes, we'd genuinely enjoy the conversation. Reach out through crownabbey.com.
